Generativity vs. Stagnation

Middle age, 40 to 65, is the time when we look back on our impact on personal and professional life. In leadership this is the time to deepen our contribution, mentor the next generation and cement our legacy. Psychologist Erik Erikson called this the stage of Generativity vs Stagnation – a crossroads where we either create meaning or stagnate.
