After holding Sales Directorships for many years with global GMCG companies including Nestle and Monsanto , John move into the recruitment industry in his own business that had offices in Melbourne , Sydney and Brisbane concentrating on Sales and Marketing roles. In this business John held Directorships and assumed the role of General Manager , having responsibility for the coaching , managing and mentoring of the team.

John Davies is an experienced business leader holding executive and directors level roles in organisations such as Nestle, Monsanto, United Distillers and Tattersalls to name a few.

John started his career in account and national business management progressing thought to sales directorship leading large teams of sales professionals across Australia and New Zealand. After a long career in FMCG, John  accepted a role as General Manager – Operations within the leisure and entertainment industry before his career pivot into recruitment and executive search. Since 2002 John has been a Director of Chorus Executive – specialist sales and marketing recruitment consultancy. In this role John has partnered thousands of individuals to build their careers and hundreds of managers and organisations to build high performing and successful teams.   In his role of executive recruiter and trusted advisor John often took on the role of “coach” and in 2024 he formalised this skill by completing his ICF accredited coaching qualification.

John has worked in large global organisations as well as built a startup from 1 office to a national operation and brings all this experience to his coaching conversations.
