Susan William

Ambassador Coach

My name is Susan and I’m an Ambassador Coach and Partnerships lead for Peeplcoach in the United States. Over the past 18 years, I have worked in Human Resources in a variety of organizations, ranging from large, global financial services and biotech firms to smaller firms and start up organizations.

I have worked with organizations such as JPMorgan Chase, AQR Capital Management, Compass Partners (private equity) and Regeneron Pharmaceuticals. In 2015 I started my own business, Elmwood Advisors, a talent advisory and HR consulting and coaching practice where I have worked with firms such as Point72 Asset Management, Balyasny Asset Management, and Kline Hill Partners.

In all my roles, I have been in talent development, helping organizations attract, retain, develop and engage their people and develop and support managers at all levels. My philosophy on coaching is that it is a powerful tool, but it has to be a partnership between the coachee and the coach. Great things can happen, people can gain a lot, grow, learn new things and expand their horizons, but they have to be the driving force. The role of the coach is to both support and challenge, but the agenda has to be the coachee’s. I love being a coach because I love being a positive and hopeful partner to my coaches, someone that they can trust and who will also challenge them

In addition to my industry experience, I hold a Ph.D. in Social and Organizational Psychology, and am accredited in the Hogan Assessment suite, Gallup Strengths finders, the DISC management style assessment, and Interpersonal Leadership Styles assessment. I have completed the Columbia University External Coaching Intensive certification program and practicum and with full certification expected in fall of 2021.

Hilary Gustave

Ambassador Coach

My name is Hilary and I’m a US-based Ambassador Coach and Partnerships Manager with Peeplcoach. I bring 20 years of experience that spans people and change management, operations, strategy and innovation, marketing and branding, qualitative research, and just about any type of problem-solving you can think of. The common thread is my commitment to keeping the “why” and the stakeholders’ voices connected to the work to shape and amplify its value and success.

My clients have included Fortune 500 companies, state agencies, large school districts, and non-profits, which has given me broad exposure to a variety of organizational cultures, structures, missions, and priorities. I hold a BS in Integrated Science and Technology and am completing an MSc in Change Leadership from HEC Paris and the University of Oxford. I earned my executive coaching certification through Columbia University, and I’m committed to the journey of continuous self-examination, professional development, and crafting and equity-based approach to coaching.

My passion centers around supporting meaningful collaboration, learning, and positive change because my dream is to see more people living and working as their best selves to boost not only personal fulfillment but also radically improve what we can accomplish in business and communities.
